What is mediation?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It is not a cult. Nor is it magic. Not even a common \u201cmind trick\u201d.<\/strong>
It is a process to solve a conflict; to agree a solution with a little help of a mediator.
Sometimes you need to say things out loud to somebody impartial. Sometimes, you need to hear from someone else the question, which you never asked yourself. Sometimes, you need
an opportunity to discuss it in order to come up with a solution.<\/p>\n

Mediation is confidential<\/strong> \u2013 what happens in mediation, stays in mediation. Just like in Vegas.
Mediation is also voluntary \u2013 which is the difficult part. How to get both sides of an argument
(bitter as it may be) to sit at one table? That is our job.<\/p>\n

How to make them agree on something?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Well, that is our job. We are here to manage and facilitate a productive environment where everybody can put their heads together in a respectful, confidential and non-judgmental environment to come up with what is most important for you: a solution.<\/p>\n

Not just a solution:<\/strong> a self-determined solution. A solution you are happy with \u2013 whatever it may be!<\/p>\n

Here, the parties, in confidence, thrash out the dispute and with the help of the mediator find a resolution. The mediator does not make the decision for the parties but helps the parties to channel the flow of discussion and resolve the problem.<\/span>\n\nThe result of a mediation is an agreement, a resolution, sometimes even a transformation of a relationship. Although your dispute is unique to you, the mediation process has already successfully resolved disputes just like your. It is cheaper than litigation and significantly faster. It is flexible both in timeline and location.<\/span>\n\nMediation can be a step up from negotiations \u2013 it has the potential to create new relations after the dispute has been resolved. It is not a cult. Nor is it magic. Not even a common \u201cmind trick\u201d. It is a structured discussion where parties start from the problem and move to resolution.<\/span>\n\nThe mediated agreement is enforceable just like any other. You can always walk out and pull the plug. No hard feelings. If the parties fail to come up with a solution \u2013 whatever has been said in mediation must not be mentioned in later proceedings \u2013 that\u2019s why mediation is risk free; it is private and confidential. If it fails, it is like it never happened for nearly all intents and purposes. Who is a mediator?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

YourMediator is a qualified and trained professional<\/strong> who assists the parties to a dispute in reaching an agreement on how to resolve the dispute. The mediator does not judge or arbitrate but facilitates a discussion which can move \u201coutside the box\u201d of a conflict. YourMediator is experienced in conflict management. YourMediator will help you to deescalate the conflict and move towards the future to resolve the problems of the past.<\/p>\n
